The objectives of this training are:

1. Determine the biological and physico-chemicalphenomena implemented in nitrification, denitrification and phosphorus removal
2. Conduct the monitoring and optimization of the plants which must remove phophates and nitrates

The program of this training is the following:

• Problems related to the presence of nitrogen and phosphorus in water

• Discharge regulation into the environment

• Presentation of analyzes and tests required to monitor treatment plants

• Study of different implemented biological and physicochemical phenomena

• Settings and specific operating constraints on various processes

• Impact processes on the quality and quantity of sludge produced
